Someone that wants to write should write something every day or at least every week.

Do not let memory impairment, dyslexia, learning disabilities, age, other's idea of your ability, or fear stop you from pursuing your dream.

Have you ever thought, “Writing is a nice dream like winning a million dollars … nice dream but not realistic.”?

I had a high school teacher tell me someone that wants to write should write something every day. I schedule a writing time each week.
I had a friend ask, “what do you think God has called you to do?”
“I don’t know” was my response.
My friend clarified her question, “What have you thought about doing, but put out of your mind. Something that seemed too crazy to be God?”

I’ve had a secret dream of writing books since 1977. How crazy would it be for a memory imparted, dyslexic, 56 years old to try to make a living as a novelist?

I had not found a novelist in the Bible, so I had not thought my dream to write was God inspired. Writing was a nice dream like winning a million dollars … nice dream but not realistic.

Two weeks prior to my friend’s question, I kept thinking about the quote “God gives us the desires of our hearts”; I believe that is a 2 fold statement.
1.) The godly desires of our hearts is in our hearts because God placed those desires in there in the first place.
2.) God desires to give us the desires of our hearts. IE God wants to bless us.
I do not believe all human desires are God-given though. If it’s not Bible promised then I don’t believe God is obligated to provide the desire of our hearts.

My pastor gave me a book recently “Safe in the shepherd’s arms” by Max Lucado, as I was reading it all I could think is “God has NO limitations. God is greater than space. God is greater than time; because God created limitations in time and space for humans. So we could see how great God is. God is large enough to be GOD. God with a capital “G” a proper name, not just a small “g” description.

That being said, how could God fail us if He gave us the desire to write?
God could not fail me but I could fail God if I don’t follow His will.
I look forward to God’s next adventure, are you?
